Join the Private Water Network

The Private Water Network (PWN) is a virtual community of profes- sionals working to protect the pub- lic’s health from contaminants in private drinking water sources. PWN aims to be a one-stop-shop resource for peer learning and infor- mation exchange for professionals

Training, creating and managing the NEHA Body Art Newsletter, and working with our dedicated Body Art Committee members were some of the highlights of my first 2 years. After completion of my time as a PHAP in October 2023, I was hired as a full-time project coordinator for NEHA. In addition to continuing to work on our body art initiatives, my responsi- bilities expanded to include assisting in the delivery of our FDA training courses and coordinating training opportunities with our industry partners. Growing up, I was taught that a life best lived is a life of service to others. I pursued a degree in public health education and pro- motion and psychology from the University of Minnesota, Duluth so I could apply that motto to my career. From body art to food safety to other programs I will work on in the future, the variety of opportunities to help and protect others is my favorite part of working in this field. Though I miss my home state of Minnesota, I have loved all Colo- rado has to offer since moving to Denver in 2021. Outside of work, I spend my time snowboarding, skiing, hiking, practicing yoga, pad- dle boarding, and catching the occasional rugby game.
