Career Resources While it is helpful to be able to find relevant job listings, you need the resources and tools necessary to find and get the job, as well as advice to help you on the job. Our resources are broken down into several dierent categories: • Find the Job: This section includes advice and articles on how to improve your job search, how professional association (such as NEHA) can help you find a job, tips on how to fast-track your job search, how to get referrals for your job applications, and qualities you should be looking for in your new employer. • Get the Job: This section includes advice and articles on how to prepare your resume and how to keep your resume concise, how to make your resume stand out in a competitive market, tips on how to get a job at a virtual career fair, virtual ways to grow your network with a professional association, how to answer tough interview questions, tips on how to make a great first impression at your interview, and what to do after the interview. • On the Job: This section includes tips to help you succeed in your first week of employment, tips for managing stress at your new job, and learning how to network (and not be intimidated by it). Looking For Qualified Employees The Career Center is the top resource for qualified job seekers in industry. We are dedicated to connecting employers with targeted candidates through a variety of digital recruitment packages. We oer three dierent packages—premium, enhanced, and basic— that were built to meet your varying job posting needs. From simply posting your job announcement to highlighting your job announcement by being a featured company and listing it as a spot-
lighted job, you can select the dierent level of exposure needed to bring in qualified candidates. Companies can also purchase banner ads to promote themselves and their job postings, which can be featured on the Career Center’s home and/or search pages.
